The Hartland Garden Society was formed over 145 years ago as a way for local people to exhibit their home grown produce.
In its current format the Society hosts a show in the Summer and again in the Autumn where anyone can competition in over 70 different classes including vegetables, flowers, cookery, art and needlework and children’s categories. The Summer show also has sports for adults and children, cream teas, stalls and local ice cream! This is held every year on the last Saturday of July.
During the winter the Society holds talks on various gardening topics in the Church Rooms, Hartland. These happen every third Monday between September and March (excluding December) everyone is welcome.
Anyone wishing to join the Society or looking for further information can contact any member of the committee directly or contact us via our facebook page.
